Product Development
More than 900 engineers work within Product Development to optimize, develop and test our current and future trucks, engines and components. Various specialists in the fields of automotive, mechanical engineering, electronics, safety, hydraulic systems, engines, aerodynamics and materials science are committed to developing the truck of the future. This is all done in cooperation with the PACCAR technical Centers in the United States and Great Britain. The latest technologies are used in a high-tech environment, with the aim of maximizing efficiency, optimum reliability and leading performance. Of course with the lowest possible impact on the environment.

Embedded Engineering
Our trucks are equipped with complex systems. Software plays an important role in this. In order to deliver the best quality, it is important that hardware and software are fully aligned. As an embedded engineer at DAF, you are aware of all technological developments, which are necessary to contribute to important change processes. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment, in a department that follows developments and is growing rapidly.
